Today was Epcot again!
Thankfully my mom was a little better and was able to go with us today.
I got ready and we took a monorail there and entered Epcot. We traveled the part of the World Showcase that we missed the first time we went. We even did Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure again. This time we did it in the UK and I met a few characters there.
We only rode one ride, which was Spaceship Earth. Every time we ride it we look for the “kid screaming at the wall,” who is actually an animatronic kid trying to sell newspapers.
I had the most amazing lunch – chili cheese fries with chicken nuggets, and it was chicken nuggets because there were eight of them and they were pretty big. We got lunch at the American Adventure pavilion.
The other half of the day we sat around our hotel collecting dust. My mom still didn’t feel well and now I didn’t either. My dad and I stayed in the room while my mom went to Steak and Shake – which is not in Disney.
I was sitting in my bed and my dad told me that John Lasseter was in a restaurant in our hotel called the California Grill. We would just walk in, but you couldn’t. You had to make a reservation and get dressed up fancy. I felt really excited but I had a feeling we wouldn’t get to see him. We went to the Contempo Cafe and while we were in the elevator there was a security guard in the elevator next to us. We sat at a table for a few minutes looking for him. We were looking for his Hawaiian shirt. We ended up not seeing him, but it was exciting to know he was right above us.
I got dinner from the restaurant and we took the food back to our room. My dad got another food wife (steak flatbread) and I had chicken nugget. It was nugget again because it was so small. That’s mostly what I eat because it tastes good, even if it’s small.
After the food I bounced right back. No, literally I was everywhere when I felt better. I was bouncing between the beds and building a bridge with a long red pillow. It’s name was George. I don’t know why.
Once all my energy was out I went to sleep.

For someone so young you do an outstanding job Katie.
Thanks for writing, Katie! You do a great job, and it is very helpful!
I met Alice the last time I went to Epcot. She’s my favorite character because she’s so nice.
