The Magic, the Memories and You is dead.
Long live Celebrate the Magic.
The Magic, the Memories and You show is going dim, but announced yesterday that it will begin showing a new version of the Cinderella Castle projection show called Celebrate the Magic in November. Thankfully, we’ll barely have enough time to mourn this fantastic addition to the Magic Kingdom. In fact, the images Disney has released look even smoother than the previous incarnation of the show.
Straight from the Disney Parks Blog:
“When shows begin, “Celebrate the Magic” will feature all-new music, storytelling and special effects. It’ll be a journey to the heart of the most beloved Disney stories and characters, according to show director Katy Harris.”
Also, an additional 1,000 seats are being installed at the Hollywood Hills Ampitheatre for the crazy popular Fantasmic! nighttime show. More room for chanting tour groups? Perhaps. But I watched it from the standing-room-only section once and I would’ve preferred to be sitting.
What’s your favorite Walt Disney World nighttime show?
In the meantime, I’m in the mood to catch some Magic, Memories and You.

Hoooo Boooyyyy!
