I haveĀ yet to spend a Fourth of July at Walt Disney World, but hope to in the next few years.
I know exactly what I’d do: I’d hit the Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents and then head over to the American Adventure.
First, I’d love to see the Voices of Liberty do this:
Plus, every time I hit the Carousel of Progress, it makes me wish it was July 4. I know they hit several holidays, but the Independence Day scene feels the most tangible to me.
And the new Hall of Presidents is great.

And of course, my single favorite attraction in the World Showcase (no, not the Sam Adams stand,) The American Adventure.

OK, now I really wish I was at Walt Disney World today. I guess I’ll have to settle for this.

When I visted WDW in 2005 it was right before the 4th of July, we actually returned on July 3rd from our trip. In 2006&2007 we did visit during the 4th of July. Of course the weather was hot & muggy & crowds were a bit to contend with especially in Epcot.
I will say though we truly enjoyed the firework display in the MK, it was so awesome seeing fireworks surround you are standing in the park, it does give new meaning to being an American.
