A first-hand resort wifi test

It’s true, there is wifi at all the Walt Disney World resorts.

Well, the one’s I’ve been to in the past few days, anyway. Here’s a first-hand review of the resort-wide wifi effort:

It’s a lot like me – it’s slow and confused, but it least it tries.

Moving around from resort to resort causes you to re-log in sometimes, and click the agreement page again. On my iTouch and iPad it gets a little clunky at times because I only have one app at a time up. Still, most of the time it ends up working.

So, thank you Disney for providing this. It’s made my life quite a bit easier. And to be honest, I haven’t seen more people walking around looking at their devices than normal.

It was very useful for us, checking and double-checking what restaurants were where and with what menu items. Loved the wifi. I used my Nook with it, and you do have to re-log in at times, but it’s a minor inconvenience. Plus we could check our bank balance fairly easily.
